MetriNote – HP|Poly Expand Teams Room Options

November 13, 2023 – In advance of Microsoft’s annual Ignite conference, HP|Poly introduced several new offerings designed to improve manageability and deployment flexibility for Microsoft Teams Rooms. These include the Poly Lens Room App for Microsoft Teams on Windows, enabling Windows-based Teams Rooms administrators to remotely monitor and manage Teams Rooms using the same Poly Lens Cloud Administration Portal that they use to manage other voice, video, and HP compute devices. In addition, HP|Poly expanded its Teams Room System offerings to include new Windows-based options running on HP computing hardware. This adds to previously available Poly Android-based systems. Finally, the company announced that several existing video, room control, headset, and webcam devices are now Microsoft Teams-certified.
