MetriNote – Zoom Perspectives 2023

Overview

Zoom held its annual “Perspectives” analyst event on August 2 and 3 in Palo Alto, CA. This event, like last year’s, was hybrid with both in-person and virtual attendees (and speakers), allowing Zoom to showcase the capabilities of its virtual event platform.

This year’s event kicked off with CEO and Founder Eric Yuan noting how Zoom would continue to drive value to its customers through innovation. He discussed three focus areas for the company:

• Becoming a full collaboration platform
• Delivering both vertical and horizontal solutions
• Investment in AI

Throughout the event, speakers focused on four core platform pillars for “delivering limitless human connection”

• Driving impact with intelligence
• Making teamwork more meaningful
• Strengthening customer relationships
• Enabling seamless workflows
