MetriNote – ClickUp Expands Generative AI Capabilities

Jan. 30, 2024 – ClickUp has announced ClickUp Brain, the next iteration of the generative AI capabilities introduced a year ago (see related MetriNote) for its connected workspace/collaborative work management application. ClickUp Brain comprises a trio of AI assistants for accelerating work tasks. They are:

  • AI Knowledge Manager – Pulls information from documents, tasks, and projects to provide contextually relevant answers to questions posed via conversational queries
  • AI Project Manager – Manages and automates tasks, progress updates, and other project work
  • AI Writer for Work – Provides role-based assistance in writing content, enables quick replies from shorthand entries, creates templates and tables, and transcribes voice to text
