MetriNote – Salesforce to Buy Zoomin, Augment AI Agents with Unstructured Data

September 24, 2024 – Salesforce announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Zoomin, a data management provider for unstructured data. With Zoomin’s capabilities added to Salesforce Data Cloud, companies will be able to use unstructured data to power the next-generation Agentforce AI assistants that Salesforce introduced last week (see related MetriNote). Salesforce said it expects to close the acquisition in fiscal fourth quarter of 2025, ending Jan. 31, 2025.
