MetriNote – Thoma Bravo to Acquire Verint, Merge Company with Calabrio

August 25, 2025 – Thoma Bravo, Calabrio’s owner and a major software investment firm, has announced its plans to acquire Verint in an all-cash deal for $2 billion. This transaction, pending regulatory approval, is expected to close by early 2026. Upon closing, Verint will be combined with Calabrio to form a combined provider of AI-powered Customer Experience automation solutions. The merged company will aim to serve the $50 billion+ CX market with a broad, open platform spanning organizations of all sizes, while maintaining investment in existing products and customer workflows. The goals of the combined company are to accelerate innovation, expand go-to-market reach, and deliver stronger business outcomes through AI-driven CX solutions.
