What's the news?
On Feb. 11, 2026, Zoom
announced new capabilities for its AI Companion virtual assistant. These include My notes, an AI note-taker, and Personal workflows to enable automated activities.
My notes builds upon the previously available record functionality in the Zoom mobile app, allowing the app to capture and summarize meeting notes and action items through listening to meeting audio via mobile device or browser. Because it relies on meeting audio, it works with any meeting app so long as it can hear the audio, including in-person meetings. My notes does not join a meeting as a participant. It also adds a new tab to the Zoom Workplace app (Zoom Hub) to store meeting notes.
Personal workflows allows employees to use natural language to build workflows that automate activities such as meeting follow-ups and sharing of updates. Workflows can be set to activate after a specific activity, such as a weekly meeting.
Both My notes and Personal workflows will be available for paid Zoom account holders at no additional cost. Monthly usage limits will apply, though Zoom has not yet disclosed details. Zoom is currently rolling out My notes out to Zoom users, and is beta testing Personal workflows, with general availability expected later this month.
