MetriNote – Atlassian Acquires Rewatch for Meeting AI

Author: Irwin Lazar, President and Principal Analyst What's the news? August 29, 2024 – Atlassian has acquired Rewatch and its cross-platform meeting virtual assistant. Atlassian notes in its press release that it will integrate Rewatch into its Loom asynchronous video platform for employee experience and engagement. With this integration, Loom customers will be able to capture information from their meetings and share it across the organization via Loom as well as make it searchable within other Atlassian apps, including Jira and Confluence. Terms of the acquisition were not announced.
