What's the news?
September 4, 2025 – Atlassian announced an agreement to acquire The Browser Company for $610 million. Atlassian’s goal is to leverage The Browser Company’s AI-enabled Dia browser to merge collaboration with web browsing. Dia, not yet released, directly embeds research, writing tools, and other AI-powered capabilities into the web browser itself, providing a consistent set of capabilities across all tabs and sites. Atlassian plans to operate The Browser Company as an independent business and continue to develop Dia.
