Author: Irwin Lazar, President and Principal Analyst, Metrigy What's the news?February 11, 2025 – At Cisco Live 2025 Amsterdam, Cisco introduced Room Bar BYOD, a video conferencing bar combining camera, microphone, and speakers, designed for easy deployment into small-to-midsize rooms and meeting spaces. The bar features a 4K camera, spatial audio, and artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize audio and video experiences. It is manageable through Cisco’s Control Hub and supports video conferencing and in-room screen sharing use cases. The bar can convert to a one-touch-join system with integrated compute via the addition of a Cisco Room Navigator touch-screen device. Room Bar BYOD is available now for $1,499.
