MetriNote – Dialpad Announces Generative AI Model

August 15, 2023 – Dialpad has announced DialpadGPT, a domain-specific large language model (LLM) that will be added to its AI platform and used to power its AI-based features (including Dialpad Ai Playbooks and Recaps, as part of the company’s “12 Months of Ai”). Typical add-on features will cost $10 to $20 per user per month. Trained on more than five years of conversational sales and customer data, DialpadGPT will help companies automate tasks, such as summarizing sales, customer interactions, and team engagements. Because the proprietary model is trained on business conversations, it can accurately call out action items and CSAT scores. When companies buy Dialpad products, such as agent assist or self-service, they can connect their own knowledge bases so the chatbot responses are specific to their domains.
