October, 2023 – HP|Poly made several announcements the week of Oct. 2 designed to advance video conferencing and collaboration via new products and managed services. On Oct. 3, at Zoomtopia, HP|Poly introduced a new Poly Studio Bundle designed to deliver meeting equity by leveraging Zoom’s multi-camera Intelligent Director feature. Intelligent Director is an AI-enabled application that runs on in-room computing hardware that ingests video from multiple cameras to provide remote participants with the best view of active speakers throughout a meeting. The company also announced a new Voyager Surround 85 UC Headset featuring wireless charging, and a new HP 430/430 personal webcam. On Oct. 5, at the HP Imagine press and analyst conference, HP announced new managed video conferencing services that will allow customers to leverage HP managed services for room system configuration and performance management. This service relies on HP’s new Workforce Central cloud-based management console providing a unified view into HP devices including printers, PCs, and Poly video endpoints.
