MetriNote – Igloo Software Launches Intranet Platform for Frontline & Desk Workers

Sept. 27, 2023 – Longtime intranet provider Igloo Software has rolled out a new platform aimed at delivering personalized experiences and resource access for distinct employee types: desked, or knowledge workers, and deskless, or frontline workers. The platform, called Igloo Flex, utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to tailor the communication, collaboration, and knowledge management experience each type of employee needs, rather than delivering a single experience for everyone. Access is available via desktos, tables, and mobile devices. Igloo Flex offers a productivity dashboard, personalized via Igloo’s recommendation engine; built-in sentiment analysis and additional analytics capabilities, such as the ability to track employee journeys and feature usage; automated content recommendations and insights; dynamic content generation by audience segment; and integration with other systems and tools for surfacing information, alerts, and tasks.
