MetriNote – Microsoft Loop Now Generally Available

November 15, 2023 – Microsoft Loop, a connected workspace app enhanced with generative AI capabilities from Microsoft Copilot, is now generally available—one of a broad range of products the company announced at its annual Ignite conference. Within a Loop Workspace, and relying on the app’s built-in intelligence, teams can gather everything they need to work on a project. Workspace pages are customizable, and teams can use Loop components such as checklists, tables, and tables, to work on and share content important to them. Loop components stay in synch across apps and devices, so wherever the works gets done, the latest is always reflected in the Loop Workspace. Copilot comes into play in various ways, including via automated generated page summaries and workspace updates. Loop is available with Microsoft 365 Business Standard, Business Premium, E3, and E5 licenses, on the web and mobile devices. Copilot requires an additional license.
