MetriNote – Miro, Stormboard Bring Generative AI to Virtual Whiteboards

May, 2023 - Virtual whiteboard vendors Miro and Stormboard have separately announced the addition of generative AI capabilities to their respective virtual whiteboard platforms. Miro’s offering, dubbed Miro AI, includes the ability to summarize notes taken by participants in brainstorming sessions, as well as the ability to cluster ideas, generate images based on text, and create sequence diagrams to show relationships between components documented in a whiteboard. With its offering, dubbed StormAI, Stormboard takes a slightly different approach by providing an active assistant that automatically generates and updates templates based on user-provided inputs. StormAI also analyzes content in virtual whiteboard to create suggestions and recommendations for further consideration.
