September 18, 2024 – Mitel and Zoom have announced a strategic partnership to integrate their respective communications and collaboration offerings to support UCaaS, private cloud, and on-premises environments. The partnership will allow existing and future Mitel voice customers to adopt Zoom Workplace and AI Companion for video and chat collaboration. Mitel customers will also have the option of a seamless migration to Zoom UCaaS if they wish to move fully to public cloud, while continuing to support Mitel endpoints. The joint solution will be generally available in 1Q25.
