MetriNote – Notion Adds Generative AI Assistant to Project Management

May 31, 2023 – Connected workspace provider Notion has announced Notion Projects, adding new project and task management capabilities, as well as integration of these capabilities with its recently introduced generative AI assistant, Notion AI, to the Notion app. With the Notion AI integration, employees will be able to use natural language queries within Notion Projects to assist in creating content such as project plans, proposals, reports, and summaries. Additionally, a new AI Autofill will update and complete details for tasks in real-time.

Other updates for Notion Projects include new sprint templates, a sprint completion workflow, and a GitHub integration for teams working in sprints. New essential features include unique IDs for tasks; improvements to project templates, setup, subtask, and dependencies; and the ability to preview files in Google Drive and Figma designs. Also available are new Buttons for automating manual tasks, a revamped Slack integration, and a new Asana importer.
