MetriNote – Notion Enhances AI Assistant for Connected Workspaces

September 24, 2024 – Notion, a provider of connected workspaces for collaborative work management, announced a new version of its AI assistant, Notion AI. With this update, Notion has extended knowledge search from Notion workspaces across integrated applications, with Google Drive and Slack connections in beta. Additional new features include the ability to edit based on a style guide or feedback; access file attachments like PDFs and images to create summaries, pull insights out of, and get answers from; and pull external data into chats, via Chat GPT-4 and Anthropic Claude models, then create a workspace page from the conversation. Lastly, Notion has personified its AI assistant with a friendly, animated face.
