June 13, 2024 – Pexip, a leader in cloud video interoperability, has announced Pexip Connect for Zoom Rooms and new interoperability features for Microsoft Teams Rooms. The offerings are generally available now. Pricing was not disclosed. Pexip Connect for Zoom Rooms enables Zoom Rooms to join Microsoft Teams meetings and share content, support multiple display screens, and access Teams Meeting features such as gestures, recording notification, and more. Pexip offers Pexip Connect for Zoom Rooms as an improved alternative to Microsoft’s own Direct Guest Join capabilities. Pexip’s new interoperability features for Microsoft Teams Rooms lets Teams Rooms easily join other meeting apps, including Cisco Webex, Google Meet, and Zoom, via one touch. Additionally, Teams Room users can share content into third-party meetings while also supporting multiple in-room displays.
