December 7, 2023 – Video communications solutions provider Pexip has announced release of its new video platform as a service (VPaaS) into beta, with full release expected in early 2024. Pexip developed this VPaaS, which comes with the SDKs and APIs needed for building standalone or embedded video applications, to meet the privacy and data control requirements of highly regulated industries such as financial services, government, and healthcare. Toward that end, the Pexip VPaaS does not store personal identifiable information; in addition, for compliance with data sovereignty mandates, all data traffic remains within defined regions. Pexip’s VPaaS supports simultaneous audio, video, and data streams from multiple devices.
