What's the news?November 21, 2024 – 8x8 has
announced a rebranding that company executives say is more than the typical look and feel. Visually, the previous logo was a box (think: “keeping us boxed in”), while the new one removes the box to reflect the company’s plans to innovate around customer success using its unified CX platform. 8x8 wants to use the platform not only to meet customer challenges, but also to allow companies to drive and measure business outcomes and make IT and CX leaders heroes in their organizations. The core of the platform includes contact center, communications platform as a service (CPaaS), and unified communications, with AI, Microsoft Teams integration, and the partner ecosystem as key foundational pillars.
