MetriNote – Zoom Brings Multi-camera AI to Zoom Rooms

June 27, 2023 – Zoom has announced “Intelligent Director for Zoom Rooms.” Intelligent Director is a feature within the Zoom Rooms app that takes video feeds from multiple in-room cameras and shares the best image with remote participants, without any user intervention. Intelligent Director for Zoom Rooms is designed to work in larger meeting rooms and augments Zoom’s existing single-camera Smart Gallery person-framing capabilities by adding support for multiple camera inputs. As noted in the release, Intelligent Director relies on Zoom hardware partners including Apple, Aver, Dell, HP|Poly, Intel, Logitech, and Yealink.
