MetriNote – Notion Brings AI Search to its Connected Workspace Users

November 14, 2023 – Notion has introduced its latest generative AI feature, Q&A. This AI-powered search capability surfaces answers from the pages and databases within a user’s Notion workspace based on questions posed in conversational prose. Q&A will surface answers using pages the user has created, been invited to, or has permission to view. Q&A is available from within the Notion app by clicking the Search tab in the sidebar or sparkle button within the app window or external to it. For the latter, users can access Q&A from whatever app they’re working in using a keyboard shortcut (as long as the Notion app is open in the background). The Notion AI Add-On provides unlimited usage of Q&A, which is available in beta today. The AI Add-On, which includes the previously introduced writing assistant and database autofill capabilities, is available with paid plans for an additional $8 per member/month, billed annually, or for $10 per member/month for monthly billing and Free plans.
