Extending access to the Gemini models, including multi-modal capabilities, will give Agentforce customers more flexibility and choice in building and deploying their AI-powered agents and creating tailored AI solutions while avoiding vendor lock-in.The partnership now also provides customers the ability to deploy Salesforce on Google Cloud’s infrastructure and enables Agentforce to use real-time Grounding with Google Search data through Vertex AI. The infrastructure agreement adds to the zero copy partnership between Salesforce Data Cloud and Google BigQuery, and will allow agents to reference real-time data and boost contextual awareness with referenceable responses.By offering Agentforce with Gemini and deploying Salesforce on Google Cloud, the companies aim to empower customers to scale their use of autonomous AI agents. Availability is expected this year.
